What is a Mechanic?

A Mechanic is a person who uses tools to repair things or works to keep things operating properly.

Who we are?

We come from different department of Therap to serve one purpose and one purpose only – “How to make our application more usable?” The Mechanics who works almost dedicated at The Usability Garage are Kazi Rubaiat Imam, Tanm and Rajiv Hassan.

Kazi Rubaiat Imam, Tanm
Tanm has treaded many paths within Therap. From writing user guides to programming and development, he now leads the Design team. Tanm is highly focused on doing usability reviews of Therap’s applications and is always eager to involve Therap users in the design process. This is one of the major reasons of creating the Usability Garage and its section in the Therap Customer Support Forum.

He has extensive experience in his field and has previously worked in reputed companies such as Grameen Software Ltd. (now known as Grameen Solutions). He also did his industrial training at eWarna.com in Malaysia.

Tanm completed his B.IT in Software Engineering from the Multimedia University in Malaysia, and later, traveled to Sweden to learn about the interdisciplinary world of Art and Technology.

Rajiv Hassan
Rajiv plays a vital role in the production of interactive training and marketing materials. His area of expertise ranges from designing & developing websites to editing audio/video and animated materials.

Rajiv has completed BSc. in Information Technology from University of Technology Sydney. Before joining Therap, Rajiv was involved with the commercial media advertisement field where he created TV commercials for telecommunication industries such as Grameen Phone and Aktel. His interest lies in blending creativity and technology to come up with user friendly design & materials.
