One of the idea is – if we have 3 followup for a single T-Log the FirstPage count will state that as one count based on the T-Log not its followup.
Currently we are tracking the read status individually. As you can see every follow up have a “Mark Read” check box. We also gave an option to “Mark all as read” at the bottom of the page.
But with 1, you can handle the possibility that maybe you have read three out of 5 messages in the thread, and so you can check off ‘Mark As Read’ accordingly. So we’d track the counts individually.
With 2, the user would could read 3 out of 5 and then they’d have to avoid clicking on Mark As Read. In this design, you’d only click that when you’ve read all 5 messages which makes up that T-Log, and it now even with two pending messages, it would appear as a single count on the View list.
It would be helpful if I did not have to go in and out again to enter a t-log or logs for more then one person in one of our set up areas. As it is now I enter a T-log and then it throws me back out to the main menu. It would be helpful if it would just return to the name list. So I could just click on the next person and get on with the entries instead of having to go in and out every single time. It just seems like a programming thing and it’s not as user friendly as I would like. It seems that I could save time by not having to go in and out for every single entry. Say for instance in our Janitorial area I have two people and I could just stay in Janitorial and click on the next person and get on with it. I also work different crews and it would be nice to have it arranged so that I could stay in the say Venture side and do all of my Venture people’s entries and then chose to go out and do my Janitorial people’s entries instead of being kicked out every single time to the main menu. Just a thought thanks—
When you submit a T-Log at the done message screen you will see a “Create New” link, this will take you back to our program list to create another T-Log. Hope this helps.
It would be helpful when you send a T-Log via SComm that it automatically gives you the person name in the Send field of the person who wrote the T-Log.
When you update a T-Log is it possible to mark the updates in a different color. Like Orange or Red. That way we can easily pick out the updates if it is a long T-Log.
We are working on a new design which has the updated and new T-logs in different color and other cool stuffs. Please click on the following link to view the latest version – http://www.therapservices.net/garage/?p=689
Please remember these are still prototypes and not implemented yet.
Will updates appear as new on your first page?
Hi Andrew,
We are still working on this but one idea is to have a Worklist for T-Log and the updates will appear there.
Rajiv
I would think when a T-Log is followup up on it should go back to FirstPage, but only as one count.
Interesting as to how you track the read status of follow ups. Do we do it individually?

Well, we’ve already considered those two cases…
One thing to do is also to consider how people will read the T-Logs.
1. The design above has a Mark As Read for all the follow-ups and hte main T-Log that started it all.
2. The design here – http://www.therapservices.net/garage/images/formlayout_6.jpg shows a single Mark As Read at the bottom of the page.

Any favorites?
This T-Log set up is great. Would love to be able to have this. Ann
