Context Sensitive Help – A new way to learn Therap!

December 7th, 2008

We introduced this cool new feature called ‘Context Sensitive Help’ in the GER module. This enhancement (in Version 8.0) is designed to help users learn about specific parts of a form, right when they are using them. It’s very easy to use, fast, and provides help exactly focusing on the section the in which the user is working.

Look out for those new question mark signson the right hand side of the GER form. Clicking on these will slide open help materials related to that section.  We are discussing to bring the Context Sensitive Help to other modules as well.

We hope this newest addition will further assist in the self learning process of Therap applications.

Catching up with office on my way home

December 2nd, 2008

I am on my way home by “Steamer Ostrich”, one of the famous water cruises in Bangladesh. At the moment, I am passing through very beautiful rivers. I am in touch with Therap all the way… :-)

Billing in Florida, Day-1

November 20th, 2008

Jim and I are now in Florida to meet a few agencies. Today we spent the day with Bishop Grady in St. Cloud and discussed billing implementation in Therap. They are thinking of expanding the use of Therap in their other programs. We demonstrated our billing and attendance module and showed them the ISP-Billing link, which is one of the most “talked about” features that we did in the last release.

Learning more and more about billing everyday!!

Billing Road Trip- Day 2 and 3(Virginia and Delaware)

November 15th, 2008

Jim and I went to Virginia from Washington DC to visit June and talk to her about the billing process in her agency. We spent the whole day there and drove to DE at night.

In Delaware we met Paul and we demonstrated our Billing and ISP module. We had a very productive discussion and providers in Delaware are most likely to start using our Attendance module soon.

Jim was pretty tired when he dropped me off at NY after driving all the way. On the way we came up with some great ideas for even more billing enhancements.

Can’t wait to go back home and start coding to implement it :-)

Billing Road Trip- Day 1 in Washington DC

November 13th, 2008

Jim and I drove all the way to Washington DC from Connecticut last night. Its the first of 3 stops we will be making in the next couple of days.

This morning we went to visit a provider to talk to them about their billing process and specifically to see how they do their Institutional claims.

After the meeting, we went out for sight seeing. We went to see the White House, Abraham Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial and Korean War Veterans Memorial.

Weekend @ NY

November 10th, 2008

I was very upset when it started to rain on Saturday morning, as this was my last weekend in NY for this trip. But I did not want to waste any time, so I went to the Museum of Natural History.

Little did I know that the next morning will be one of the finest day I have seen in NY. It was more sunny than I could ask for and decided to take full advantage of it. I packed my camera gear and headed for my favorite place in NY- Central Park.

Later on I got too adventurous and went for a helicopter ride over NY. It was simply awesome!!!

Will post photos soon :-)

Great day at Connecticut

November 7th, 2008

Sazzad and I are in Connecticut now with Warren. We had some very interesting brainstorming sessions with Justin and Jim. Jim and I also had a chat with Sunset Shores about sending claims electronically for CT providers.

At the end of the day all of us went for Bowling and it was fun!!! Warren played with his left hand and scored more than Justin :-)

Here are some photos:

Brain storming and Bowling (without Wii)

November 7th, 2008

We arrived at Connecticut yesterday. This particular part of the trip is for discussions and planning on what we want to achieve in our up coming releases. So, this is the time when we work on prioritizing our ever increasing ‘To-Do’ list. This is real fun when we have the whole team including Warren, Justin, Jim designing all those complicated modules in flip charts. It starts with just few lines and boxes in twelve different colors but as time goes by, it gets really exciting and you can almost visualize the idea working in the real system. I missed some of it as I had to run and join a webinar on MAR. By the time we were done, it looked like quite a productive day. So, it was quite obvious that the next most important thing we need to do was going out for a good dinner. Jim took us to a pretty cool Italian restaurant and we were there until we were completely full.

We still had more fun stuff to do. It was time for trying out real bowling. I just had my first bowling experience in Wii last week while at the Kansas conference. I figured out that real bowling is indeed far more fun except for the fact that I scored way better in Wii. But I am going to work on that and expecting to break my Wii record.

Tomorrow we will have more exciting discussions before we head back to New York.

Halloween @ New York

November 6th, 2008

The last few days Sazzad and I have walked all over New York. The weather was just perfect. We went to the Central Park, walked for hours and took some very nice pictures. We also went to the Museum of Natural History, China Town and Times Square.

But the most fun part was the Halloween parade in New York. People of all ages gathered in colorful and amazingly weird cloths and masks.

Here are some of the Photos:
